KT to exclusively launch Galaxy Jump3 smartphone

KT Corp., one of South Korea’s three telecommunications providers, will exclusively sell the Galaxy Jump3, a mid-range smartphone model in the 400,000 won range made by Samsung Electronics Co., at all its stores nationwide and its official online store, KT Shop, the company said on Friday.

It is the successor to the Galaxy Jump2, which was introduced in 2022, and is one of the two mid-to-low-priced phones to be released within the year that was mentioned in the government’s recently announced plan to ease the burden of telecommunication costs.

As a 5G smartphone, the Galaxy Jump3 features a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a 50-million-pixel triple rear camera, a 13-million-pixel front camera, a 5,000mAh large-capacity battery, and 25W charging.

It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 series (SM8350) chipset, which is usually used in flagship devices and optimized for high-capacity gaming and video, the company said.

The available colors are black and white, with an ex-factory price of 438,900 won ($333.40).

KT has a promotion until the end of November, offering customers who purchase the Galaxy Jump3 a discount coupon for Galaxy Buds FE and Naver Pay points.
