Samsung Electronics to launch Galaxy A series in Korea

Samsung Electronics Co. will unveil its budget-friendly Galaxy A series for Korean customers on Monday. The Korean launch of Galaxy A series, which costs around 300,000 won ($225.23) per gadget, is part of the company‘s marketing appeal to customers with different preferences and budgets.

The Galaxy A15 is a Long-Term Evolution (LTE) smartphone priced at 319,000 won, with its 5000mAh battery on par with that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra model. The device supports fast charging up to 25W and Samsung Pay, and comes in Blue Black, Light Blue, and Yellow.

The model also comes with a 6.5-inch screen, rear triple cameras with a 50-megapixel (MP) resolution and a 13 MP front camera, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and MediaTek Inc.’s MT6789 application processor.

As an added layer of cyber security, the Galaxy A15 includes a built-in feature designed to block suspicious messages and protect users from phishing scams.
