LG Uplus announced its intensified focus on B2B (business-to-business) AI services on Wednesday, with a particular emphasis on its AI Contact Center (AICC), AICC Cloud, and “Our Store AI” ? an AI solution tailored for small businesses.
In March 2021, LG Uplus introduced “U+ AICC On-Premise,” an AI-based customer service solution which achieved 55 billion won ($40.5 million) in order bookings in less than two years. The company followed up by launching a subscription service, U+ AICC Cloud, in September 2023 to provide services designed to cater to mid-sized enterprises and small businesses.
The company also launched the “Our Store AI” flat-rate plan for small businesses in October, which includes a phone terminal, AI greeting, and customer notes.
The company also said it will build “One-LG AICC” with LG AI Research Institute and LG CNS to actively utilize its group-wide AI capabilities and launch its own telecom-customized AI “ixi-GEN” in 2024 to strengthen its AICC competitiveness.
