Seoul-based healthcare tech company Lunit Inc. announced in an official statement on Monday that it signed agreements to provide artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to a French telemedicine network and a Portuguese non-profit organization.
According to the agreement signed with TeleDiag, a French telemedicine cooperative network, Lunit will offer its AI-powered chest X-ray analysis solution, Insight CXR. The Korean health tech firm will also provide its AI-generated analysis solution for mammography, Insight MMG, for the central branch of the Portuguese Cancer League (Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro, or LPCC), a Portuguese non-profit organization that works on health education and cancer prevention campaigns.
Founded with a mission to address healthcare disparities using digital technologies, TeleDiag offers remote diagnostic services to over 300 partner organizations.
The statement said that the LPCC central branch, located in Coimbra, plans to use Lunit‘s Insight MMG for approximately 100,000 state-funded breast cancer screening programs per year.
