South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co. has unveiled the 2024 Avante N1 Cup Car at Hyundai N Festival, the country’s largest one-make race that was held during the weekend in Yeongam, South Jeolla Province, the company said on Monday.
The new Avante N1 Cup Car was showcased in anticipation of next year’s race.
Based on the predecessor model, the new Avante N1 Cup Car has been newly incorporated with wider tires, improved fenders, and front/rear bumpers, enabling it to enjoy faster cornering speeds and better aerodynamic performance, according to Hyundai Motor.
The Avante N1 Cup Car had also made an appearance last week at the China Touring Car Championship (TCR) Zhuzhou round in China.
During this year’s final N1 class of the two-day Hyundai N Festival, driver Kim Gyu-min won the individual category, and the DCT Racing Team claimed the team category championship.
Till Wartenberg, vice President for the N Brand & Motorsport business at Hyundai Motor, said that the company plans to showcase its excellence in one-make races held in various regions, including China and the United States.
