Osstem Implant plans to quintuple its headcount in 10 years

Osstem Implant is initiating a significant recruitment drive to secure good talent for its business, with the goal of becoming the world’s leading dental implant manufacturer by 2028.

Osstem Implant announced plans to hire over 700 employees within 2024 on Thursday, with a focus on sales and research and development (R&D). The company particularly aims to increase the number of sales personnel in its 10 major overseas branches, including the United States, China, and India, from the current 1,300 to 1,700.

Osstem Implant has been hiring 200 to 300 new employees annually in recent years. However, the demand for local personnel and sales staff has increased significantly with the expansion into new countries. Osstem Implant established subsidiaries in Spain, France, and other countries in 2023, bringing the total number of overseas branches to 35 and with plans to expand to 50 by 2026.

The South Korean sales division is also accelerating its human resource expansion. Osstem Implant currently has over 630 sales personnel in 21 regional headquarters nationwide, making it the largest sales organization in the dental industry in the country.

With this recruitment drive, Osstem Implant aims to increase its workforce from 5,970 employees at the end of 2023 to 7,000 by the end of 2024 and to around 30,000 by 2034.
