POSCO DX provides robotic automation solution to Hyosung Advanced Materials

POSCO DX, information technology and engineering company under South Korea’s POSCO Group, announced Thursday that it provided its robotic process automation (RPA) solution, A.WORKS, to Hyosung Advanced Materials, an industrial materials production company in Korea.

According to POSCO DX, Hyosung Advanced Materials has successfully automated various tasks such as currency exchange, industry trend monitoring, inventory management, manufacturing, and quality report generation using the RPA solution.

POSCO DX previously said it had supplied A.WORKS to Lotte Energy Materials, a secondary battery material manufacturer.

POSCO DX has a track record of supplying the solution to various organizations, including Hana Bank, the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, JB Financial Group, Korea Electric Power Corp., the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Kangwon National University.

POSCO DX said it is exploring ways to apply generative AI such as ChatGPT following its link with optical character reading (AI-OCR) and AI chatbots for further enhancement.
