KT develops corporate network diagnosis solution DX Care

South Korea’s KT Corp. said Tuesday that it has developed DX Care, a solution that enables quick and easy diagnosis of traffic issues within corporate intranet networks.

According to the company, DX Care automatically diagnoses network traffic and generates reports in the increasingly complex corporate intranet network environment during the era of digital transformation (DX).

It can analyze traffic and loads at the network elements within a window of a few seconds, providing data on traffic loss, as well as on the occurrences and timing of delays.

DX Care also offers solutions for traffic problems and deteriorations in service quality. In the past, when traffic issues occurred, such as degradation of image quality or disconnections and interruptions during video conferences, it took a considerable amount of time for engineers to diagnose the root causes.

KT’s latest solution provides swift diagnoses and proposed solutions, including network expansion or equipment reallocation.

KT applied DX Care to some parts of its headquarters and found that the new solution reduces the time required to resolve any issues by approximately 80 percent compared to the time taken with manual intervention by specialized engineers.

KT plans to add consulting features that propose improvement measures to actively address potential issues and ensure facilitated use of network services.
