Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that it will be conducting the “Samsung TV Super Big Festival” nationwide in both online and offline stores until the end of next month.

The event offers the opportunity for consumers to purchase large-sized TVs at discounted prices, earning it the nickname “Early Black Friday.”

During the event, customers who purchase models such as Neo QLED 8K with a screen size of 65 inches or larger, or the Neo QLED, Neo OLED, The Frame, and QLED models with a screen size of 75 inches or larger, will be eligible for various benefits.

To encourage larger TV purchases, Samsung is offering a “Super Big Planning Points” promotion, where customers can receive more points when they choose larger TV screens. Customers who purchase a 98-inch TV can receive up to 1 million points, while those buying an 85-inch or 83-inch (209 cm) TV can earn a maximum of 500,000 points.

Special event models will also be available until October 10, with customers purchasing a 98-inch Neo QLED or an 83-inch OLED TV will receive a complimentary soundbar. Additionally, 30 customers who purchased a TV to furnish their new marital home will receive a 100,000-point Naver Pay coupon through a draw.

This year, Samsung Electronics’ large and high-resolution TVs achieved significant sales growth compared to the previous year. In particular, 98-inch TVs saw a 3.2-fold increase in sales based on cumulative quantities for the third quarter compared to the previous year. Sales of QLED and OLED TVs in the third quarter increased by 14 percent, representing 80 percent of domestic TV sales.

“This is a good opportunity for consumers who have been considering switching to a large-screen TV to get a great deal and experience an immersive viewing experience unique to Samsung TV,” Samsung Electronics vice president Hwang Taehwan said.
