FedEx offers international package pickup at GS25 stores

International courier FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., is launching a pickup service for internationally shipped goods at GS25 convenience stores, operated by GS Retail Co., according to the courier on Wednesday.

FedEx customers will now be able to receive their goods ordered from overseas online shopping malls and shipped internationally at GS25 stores nationwide, allowing them to pick up their packages at their convenience.

“In partnership with GS25, we are expecting to prevent any delivery errors and to increase customer satisfaction by allowing customers to choose when and where they receive their packages,” according to Park Won-bin, the managing director of the courier’s Korea branch.

With its new Incheon Airport logistics center in operation since November 2022, FedEx has boosted its cargo capacity, and currently the courier can provide same-day delivery for internationally shipped goods not only in Seoul and the metropolitan area but also in other regions across the nation.
