Shilla Duty Free to host virtual beauty class in collaboration with Est?e Lauder

South Korea’s Shilla Duty Free announced Thursday that it will host a virtual beauty class for VIP customers in collaboration with global cosmetics brand Est?e Lauder.

The virtual beauty class will be held from 7 p.m. on the same day on the Shilla Online Duty-Free Shop website and Shilla TV channel on YouTube, marking the release of Est?e Lauder‘s new Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution serum.

The virtual class will feature various events, including skincare lessons, Q&A sessions with customers, and a live chat with customers.

For this event, Shilla Duty Free collaborated with AI-based visual art tech company Vive Studios to create a virtual studio set in the background of an airplane first-class cabin, and will also introduce a virtual human, “Shillala.”

Chinese-language broadcasts will also be available for Chinese customers.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, Shilla Duty Free has organized seven virtual beauty classes in collaboration with famous cosmetics brands including La Prairie and Burberry Beauty.

“We will continue to lead the industry by creating rich content through various initiatives, including online and offline mixed beauty classes,” a Shilla Duty Free official said.
