Kurly announces double-digit hiring in tech fields

Kurly, South Korea’s major retail tech company, said on Tuesday that it is set to hire double-digit experienced professionals across various roles in the tech function. This extensive recruitment drive in the tech division marks the first such effort in nearly two years since the spring of 2022.

The company is seeking candidates for six different areas: artificial intelligence, data, development, planning, and design. The newest addition is AI for hyper-personalization and automation.

Professionals with over five years of experience in relevant fields are encouraged to apply.

The application process is open until March 19, and those who successfully pass the document review will undergo subsequent selection steps such as coding tests, assignment assessments, and interviews.

Kurly explained that the objective behind this hiring initiative is to evolve and expand the product experience. While the company has concentrated on the essence of its shopping platform for the past nine years since its founding, it now aims to advance every stage of customer interaction with Kurly, from product exploration to post-purchase experience, using technology.

The company plans to leverage technological advancements to make it easier and faster for customers to search for products that match their preferences. Kurly said it aims to provide a seamless shopping experience that optimizes personal lifestyles, ensuring a smooth transition between online and offline activities.
