Lotte Data Communication announced on Monday that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with autonomous driving robot service company Neubilty on February 28th, 2024, at its headquarters in Seoul. The partnership will collaborate on the development of autonomous security and safety robots, which are specifically designed for the detection and prevention of security and safety issues in various environments.
The autonomous driving robots to be developed by both companies will navigate at low speeds in locations such as factories and building perimeters. These robots, based on Internet of Things (IoT) devices, are equipped with enhanced security and safety features to detect potential issues as well as prevent accidents before they occur.
