II.1.1) Title Stabling Shed Works Reference number: 17-200 II.1.2) Main CPV code 45223200  II.1.3) Type of contract Works II.1.4) Short description SPT Subway is seeking to award a contract to refurbish the Broomloan Depot Stabling Shed. This building is used to house the system???s rolling stock. All passenger services originate from this building and the trains return there at the end of service. Some cleaning of the trains also takes place. The building shows signs of structural and fabric decay including water ingress. SPT aims to refurbish the property in order to address building defects and provide a secure storage facility for its rolling stock that is to be replaced as part of the Subway Modernisation programme. SPT appointed architects Austin-Smith:Lord, and sub-consultants Will Rudd Davidson (structural engineers) and SVM (electrical engineers) to produce a detailed design. The appointed Contractor will deliver the works with an estimated Contract Award of Spring 2018. The works need to take place during a live operational environment.
