  RequEst for Information (rfi) Commercially Availableliquid Oxygen Storage Tanks   BACKGROUND This is a Request for Information (RFI). This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and there is no solicitation package available.   The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ is requesting information pertaining to the availability of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) or Modified COTS 1500 to 3000 gallon liquid capacity cryogenic storage tanks.  These tanks are to be used to store and distribute liquid oxygen.  The tanks must be supplied with a liquid to gas conversion system to provide gaseous oxygen at 2500 psig.  A pressure buildup system to allow the transfer of liquid to smaller containers and to feed the liquid to gas conversion system shall be integral to the tank.  The output liquid shall be regulated to 50 psig or less.  The tank and liquid to gas conversion system should be contained within an 8' x 16' footprint.  The desired system must be designed to withstand and operate outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as high and low temperatures, wind, and rain.  REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) is requesting information pertaining to Commercially Available Liquid Oxygen Storage Tanks.    1) Details/Specifications of your Liquid Oxygen Storage Tanks 2) General description of your manufacturing capabilities. 3) If applicable, provide customer testimonials with references. Provide your point(s) of contact. 4) Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROM) of your Liquid Oxygen Storage Tanks 5) Provide information about your company / organization including: Brief description of your company / organization; Small / large business, 8A, hub-zone, veteran owned status; any past or present Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) awards related to your cryogenic storage tanks. 6) Provide any additional information you desire. DISCLAIMER This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.  This request for information does not commit the government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.  The Government WILL NOT PAY for any information received in response to this request for information nor will the Government compensate the respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information for the Government.  Any request for copies of solicitations will not be addressed since this is a request for information, not a request for proposal.  It is requested that information in response to this RFI be submitted NO LATER THAN 22 January 2018 to Christopher Fazio, Contract Specialist, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Code 2.5.2.1.1, Highway 547 Lakehurst NJ 08733 or by email to Christopher.fazio1@navy.mil.  Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP.  Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation.  The Government will not release any information marked with a proprietary legend received in response to this RFI to any firms, agencies or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend.
