  SPECIAL NOTE: November 6, 2017   SUBJECT: Program Manager Wargaming Center (PM WGC) will host a Marine Corps Wargaming Symposium WHEN:  December 12-13, 2017 Check-in beginning at 0700; Program concluding at 1600 WHERE: Fredericksburg Expo & Convention Center 2371 Carl D. Silver Parkway Fredericksburg, VA 22401 PLEASE NOTE: This is a government hosted/sponsored event. BACKGROUND:  On September 14, 2017, in accordance with interest from the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Commander, Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), signed a Decision Memorandum establishing the Program Management Office, Wargaming Center (PM WGC).  This initiative reflects direct guidance from the Deputy Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy in 2015, identifying the need for services to have modern, service-specific wargaming capability.  EVENT FORMAT: This is a two-day professional development program featuring single and panel presentations from subject matter experts within the professional wargaming community. Sessions will be include educational information and be interactive, including audience question and answer sessions with the speakers. Members of the wargaming community that have knowledge or experience in the Topics of Interest are the intended target audience for participation. ATTENDANCE QUALIFICATIONS: This event is open forum, but requires registration. Technical leads and companies are invited to participate based upon white paper submissions as described below.   Attendance will be limited to 2 representatives per company. Advance registration is required to attend. Prospective attendees interested are required to complete the following for consideration to attend: ？？？1.        Respond to this RFI notice by 5:00 PM on 4 December 2017 to the attention of Nicole Bolen, events@catalystllc.co.  Responses after this date cannot be considered. ？？？2.       In the response, please submit a brief white paper, not to exceed two pages, on a subject area relevant to the topics of interest listed below. ？？？3.       Individual company representatives will be contacted and provided an event registration link and agenda information.
