Sealed bids from certified HUBZone Business concerns only will be accepted for the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Project NP BAWA 1(5), 2(5), Solicitation Number 693C73-18-B-000006, located in Prince George's County, Maryland. The project consists of the resurfacing of approximately 3.7 miles of the Northbound/Southbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway from the Beaver Dam Road Bridge to the Big Patuxent River Bridge, including the exit/entrance ramps at Explorer Road (NASA Goddard Space Flight Center), Powder Mill Road, and Laurel Bowie Road (MD Route 197). The work includes asphalt concrete pavement patching, asphalt pavement milling and overlay, cleaning and resealing bridge expansion joints, replacing concrete curb and gutter, and other miscellaneous work. The project will be split into multiple work schedules/contract options, with the cost of the entire project expected to fall within the price range of $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid documents should be issued on or about October 12, 2017. Bid due date and location will be specified on the SF 1442, Block 13a of the Solicitation. All bid documents can be directly downloaded from this website. Documents will no longer be mailed. If firms do not register as an interested vendor at the Federal Business Opportunities website, there will be no Plan Holders List. Annual Representations and Certifications FAR 52.204-8 (Jan 2017). The Representations and Certifications must be filled-in online at http://sam.gov/. The required Annual Form Vets-4212 must also be filled-in online at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm per FAR 52.222-37. The DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at the prime rate. Due to new security provisions, all visitors attending bid openings are urged to arrive at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled bid opening. All visitors must register with the receptionist in Room 100. A Government employee will collect the bids. Prior to bid opening, a Government employee will escort all bidders to the bid opening. Unescorted visitors will be denied entry and no exceptions will be made.
