  ASRC, Arctic Slope Regional Corporation under the new BOS contract FA3002-16-C-0004 is contemplating the issue of solicitation IFB217B for XTLF 12-1003 the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The temporary lodging facility (TLF) construction 1982 is currently a ten unit extended stay (no more than 90 Days) residential facility constructed of brick veneer over structural studs on a concrete slab. Nine of the Units are comprised of a separate living room with a kitchenette, a single bedroom and bath with tub, toilet and Single sink vanity. The tenth unit was modified to have an addition bedroom by enclosing a breezeway (1997). There is a dedicated room for laundry that is adjacent to the mechanical room. Domestic hot water is provided by an underground service loop that runs from the mechanical room parallel to the domestic cold water. Heating and cooling are also provided via tempered water from the mechanical room. The design scope is to convert units one through eight into two bedroom single family units by combining two existing units into one new unit. Each of these new two bedroom units will be serviced by new bath. Units nine and ten will be combined into a three bedroom unit that will also be designated as an ADA accessible unit. Finally, each new kitchen will also contain laundry hookup as the existing dedicated laundry is being repurposed. Repurposing the existing Laundry will include the creation of a larger mechanical room, a new linen storage, two new guest storage Closets, and a new area for future office relocations. ASRC terms and conditions will apply to the award.  Further guidance will be posted on FedBizOps prior to the Pre-Bid conference/Site Visit.  There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or ASRC should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. Should funds be provided, to be considered for award of this project a contractor must have satisfactory previous experience in the types of work contained in this solicitation and have a successful track record performing the types of work contained in the project? Vance AFB also has strict Base access regulations and commercial inspections are mandatory with each entry to the facility. The acceptance period for this action will be 60 days and contractors should consider this impact to their bonding limits prior to bidding the solicitation.
