INTENT TO COMPETE A BRAND NAME ACQUISITION
 (PUBLIC DISPLAY POSTING)
 The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a brand name purchase order to any authorized reseller of Fair Isaac (FICO) Blaze Advisor Professional Services. The authority permitting a brand name acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Brand Name. The period of performance will be September 12, 2018 through September 11, 2019. Per market research conducted, FICO Blaze Advisor Professional Services can only be provided by FICO and its authorized resellers. The services needed are for consulting support for the Selection Workload and Classification Component 2 (SWC C2) Project.
 FICO Blaze Advisor is currently being utilized by the Large Business and International (LB&I) Organization. Blaze Advisor 6.5 rules-based engine software is the Enterprise Architecture standardized software that will supply capability to identify the highest risk returns, by generating a scoring mechanism. FICO Blaze Advisor support services are needed in order for the IRS to continue to utilize the FICO Blaze Advisor software.
 No solicitation package will be issued on FedBizOpps. This notice of intent to conduct a brand name procurement is not a request for quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received no later than August 14, 2018, 10AM ET. Responses shall be submitted to Traci.A.Brinkley@irs.gov. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information:
 1. The name of your company;
 2. Company DUNS No.;
 3. POC name and contact information; and,
 4. The specific product(s)/services that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items/services to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the specific items/services mentioned above.
 It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your ability to provide the FICO Blaze Advisor professional services. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having the capability of meeting the Government's needs.
