SOLICITATION FOR NSN: 1680011485493/0072344655, COUPLING DRIVE NO 2, HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND (99167); P/N: 5001884. HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND IS THE ONLY APPROVED SOURCE FOR THIS ITEM.  DLA DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE AN APPROVED TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE AVAILABLE FOR THIS NSN.  ANY MANUFACTURER, OTHER THAN THE APPROVED SOURCE, WISHING TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL ON THIS ITEM MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETE SOURCE APPROVAL REQUEST (SAR) PACKAGE.  A LETTER REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) WILL BE ISSUED FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE QUANTITY OF 11 EACH.  THIS SOLICITATION WILL RESULT IN A FIRM FIXED-PRICE CONTRACT WITHOUT OPTIONS. THE REQUIRED DELIVERY SCHEDULE IS 482 DAYS ARO, FOB ORIGIN, INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE AT DESTINATION. PPIRS APPLIES; THE FINAL CONTRACT AWARD DECISION MAY BE BASED UPON A COMBINATION OF PRICE, PAST PERFORMANCE, AND OTHER EVALUATION FACTORS.  ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT AN OFFTER THAT WILL BE CONSIDERED.  A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE VIA THE DLA INTERNET BID BOARD SYSTEM (DIBBS).  A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE TO REQUESTERS BY CONTACTING THE BUYER DIRECTLY.  THE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE WILL BE ON OR ABOUT 05/01/18.
