Project description: Provide construction services to replace the existing sand filtration system and install a new triplex depth filtration system at the Cliff Central Heating and Cooling Plant in Ottawa. Work is to be completed within 12 Weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $100,000 to $250,000. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders shall meet at the Cliff Plant located at 1 Fleet Street, Ottawa, Ontario. SAFETY ATTIRE: Contractors interested to participate must have proper personal protective equipment. The minimum requirement is to have CSA approved safety footwear.
