주요업무내용 | Assesses diverse needs of students who use the student services and adjusts the structure of the program to address those needs as well as the university/college mission statement; recommends policy and procedural changes to administrators. Establishes program mission and strategic plan, objectives, goals. Assesses and evaluates program effectiveness. Oversees day-to-day operation and activities of undergraduate academic advising as well as special programs such as Academic Access, International Programs and Internship Program. Hires, coaches, reviews, supervises, and terminates assigned employees, or makes effective suggestions and recommendations that are given particular weight regarding the employment status of assigned employees. Advises and counsels students on academic, curricular, career and personal issues; assists academic advisors with difficult cases. Oversees recruitment and orientation programs for prospective university students or participants in special programs. Develops and prepares advising materials, such as brochures, handouts, general information summaries, and newsletters. | ||
