This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Medical Pharmaceutical Supplies in support of the Afghanistan National Army (ANA), Afghan Ministry of Defense (MOD). Pharmaceutical supplies consist of 163 pharmaceuticals in various quantities.
 Description:

This effort was previously posted on FBO.gov and the prior solicitation was subsequently cancelled.

The 901st Contracting Command, Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan intends to solicit
 and award a contract for procurement of Medical Pharmaceutical Supplies in

 support of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) health care system. The purchase will
 replenish supplies that have been consumed over the past year and support
 medical care in military hospitals and troop medical clinics and processing

 centers in Afghanistan. The NAICS for this effort is 325412, FSC 6505. All items will
 be delivered to a US military depot located in Afghanistan. The vendor must be
 knowledgeable of and comply with applicable Afghan custom laws and regulations
 relevant to fulfilling this requirement. The vendor must be able to deliver 100% of all
 required line items listed in Attachment 1 and Attachment 2 (to be included in the
 solicitation), within the specified 90 days and 180 days delivery from the

 date of the award. Vendor must meet the Item specifications and complete
 all blocks stated in Attachments 1 and 2, including the Origin of
 Manufacture.

This procurement falls under the purview of the Trade Agreements Act. Items
 must be procured from qualifying countries that are listed in FAR 252.225-7021,
 Trade Agreements. The anticipated period of award is estimated for 23 November
 2016.

This synopsis does not constitute a commitment on the part of the Government to
 award a contract, nor to pay for any costs incurred as a result of this synopsis. This
 synopsis is not a sources sought, nor a request for competitive proposals or

 quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action
 is solely within the discretion of the Government.
