The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Politico Pro for a subscription service. Politico Pro offers a subscription service with customizable access to minute-to-minute news coverage, access to daily budget and appropriation briefs, early bird access to its morning newsletters, calendar of events and speakers, policy specific content, and attendance to exclusive Politico Pro events. The period will be for a 12-month base with four (4) one-year option periods. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by the response date and time identified in this synopsis. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates award on or about September 30, 2016. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
