The National Institute of Environmental Vocus Enterprise Edition Subscription Renewal Health Science (NIEHS) intends to award a Purchase Order to Cision US, Inc. at 130 E Randolph St 7th Fl, Chicago, IL, 60601-6164, for the purchase of to be used at NIEHS, Research Triangle Park campus.

The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210 and the business size standard is $38.5 million dollars. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Cision US, Inc. is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required services and no other services will satisfy the agency's requirements.

The purpose of this Purchase Order is to procure the Vocus Enterprise Edition Subscription Renewal. Vocus Enterprise Edition Subscription Renewal. NIEHS uses Vocus to track NIEHS, NTP, and EHP media stories, as well as media inquiries and subsequent interviews with institute staff. Vocus is the only company that provides individual databases for their clients, allowing the ability to review, modify, add, or delete stories within the database, for more complete, concise data. Weekly reports of the media stories that have been released in the prior week are required by the NIEHS director, so it's imperative that the data be as accurate as possible. The system must supply individual databases or the ability to store full stories in their databases - a requirement for our reporting to the NIEHS director, NAEHS Council, and Francis Collins' BRAIN project.

This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS' requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and shall be emailed to Teresa McCall at teresa.mccall@nih.gov and are due by 4:30PM ET on August 17, 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
