Onbehalf of the government and the people of the Republicof Korea I would like to express mybest wishes that Lebanonand the Lebanese people have happy holidays and a happy new year.

In2006, all of us in Lebanonhave faced many challenges and opportunities. I sincerely hope that theLebanese people could achieve long awaited and deserved peace, stability andprosperity through dialogue, reconciliation, cooperation and reforming efforts inthe year of 2007.

AndI also hope that the bilateral relationship between Koreaand Lebanonmay be strengthened and flourished in various fields.
