Q.체코에서 근무 중인 남편 방문차 아이들과 이곳에 왔으며 처음 90일 체류후 60여일을 더 체류하기 위해 주변국 여행후 다시 체코에 들어오려 합니다.

체코에서 한국으로 돌아가기 때문에 체코에서 출국수속시에 문제가 없어야 하니 문의 드립니다.

1. 얼마전 오스트리아를 다녀왔습니다
대중교통 이용권과 유명관광지 입장권을 가지고 있습니다.
카드명세서나 숙박이용한 영수증은 없는 상태인데 가지고 있는 영수증 만으로 추가 체류후 귀국할때 문제 소지가 없는지.. 오스트리아를 여행한 것으로 추가 체류하여 한국으로 돌아가는데 문제가 없는지

2. 양자협정을 맺지 않고 있는 슬로바키아로 여행을 다녀온후 숙박이나 기타 영수증을 가지고 추가 체류후 귀국할때 문제가 없는지

3. 양자협정을 맺고 있는 폴란드 여행후 추가 체류후 귀국할때 문제가 없는지 알고 싶습니다

문의하신 사항에 대해 안내드립니다.

체코는 몇개의 특정국가의 국민에 한해서 재입국시 90일 더 무비자체류가 가능하도록 허용해주고 있습니다.

이 몇개의 국가중에는 한국도 포함되어있기때문에 다른 국가를 여행하시고 체코로 다시 방문하시면 90일간 더 체류가 가능합니다.
(다만, 무비자협정은 단순방문을 목적으로 체류하는 경우에만 해당되며, 이러한 방법으로 자주 체코로 출입국을 하는 경우 체코체류심사관리인의 의심을 사서 불이익을 당하실 수 있으므로 체코에 장기체류를 하실 경우 목적에 맞는 비자를 반드시 소지하시기 바랍니다.)

이처럼 체코로 재입국시 한국인의 경우 무비자로 90일간 더 체류가 가능하지만, 재입국이라는 것을 증명하셔야만 합니다.
쉥겐조약때문에 쉥겐국가 출입시 입출국도장을 따로 찍어주지 않기때문에 다른 서류로 재입국이라는 것을 증명하시면 되고, 이 증명서류로 정해진 양식이 있는 것은 아니기 때문에 저희대사관에서는 숙박영수증이나 카드명세서 등이 가능하다는 점을 참고하시도록 안내하고 있습니다.

"재입국 증명"이라는 목적에 맞게 서류를 준비하시면 될 것으로 사료됩니다.

또한 체코로 재입국시에는 "체코 이외의 국가"를 방문했었다는 것을 증명하시면 되고, 이전에 어느 국가를 방문해야하는지 정해져있는 것은 아닙니다.

현재 이미 체코에서 90일간 체류를 하셨다면, 쉥겐조약을 우선으로 하는 다른 유럽국가의 여행시 무비자허용체류일수 초과로 문제가 발생할수 있기때문에 다른 국가를 방문하시기 전에 반드시 현재상황을 바탕으로 체류가 가능한지 확인 후 여행하시기 바랍니다.

체코가 양자협정을 우선으로 적용하는 국가라도, 동시에 쉥겐조약에 가입한 쉥겐국가이기 때문에 다른 쉥겐국가에서 체류일수 초과로 처벌을 받으실 경우에는 체코에서도 동일하게 적용된다는 점을 유념하시기 바랍니다.

Q. I came to the Czech to visit my husband who is on detached duty in Czech. After the stay of 90 day, I’m planning to travel neighboring countries and be back again in Czech in order to prolong my stay by another 60 days. I will go back to Korea directly from Czech, thus I would like to know if there would be any problem in the departure procedure in Czech.  

1. Lately I went to Austria. I have a transportation card and tourist tickets but no credit card bills and accommodation receipts. I wonder if there would not be any trouble when I come home to Korea after the additional stay in Czech, and also whether the fact that I traveled Austria in order to prolong my stay in Czech may cause some problems.

2. If I prolong and stay for another days in Czech after travelling in Slovakia, which has not made a bilateral agreement with Korea yet, and If I have accommodation and other receipts that can prove the travel in Slovakia, would there be any trouble to go back to Korea?

3. Plus, in the case of travel in Poland with which Korea made a bilateral agreement, would there be any trouble to go back to Korea?

Czech allows only some people of certain countries to stay for another 90 days without a visa in the case of reentry. The certain countries include Korea, so you can stay for another 90 days if you reenter Czech after traveling neighboring countries.

However, the no-visa agreement only applies to the stay for simply visit purpose. If you often entry and leave Czech that way, you may incur suspicion and have a disadvantage. Therefore, if you want to stay in Czech for a long time, you should have a proper visa that answers the purpose.  

As stated above, you can stay for another 90 days without a visa when reentering Czech; however you have to prove your reentry. Because those countries that have joined the Schengen zone allow free travel without passports, you need to present other evidential materials. And there is no fixed form of an evidentiary document, so accommodation receipts or credit card bills can be used as evidentiary documents.

It is recommended that you should prepare the documents which could certify that you have reentered. When you reenter Czech, you need to prove that you visited countries other than Czech. Also Czech doesn’t recommend any country to visit. 

If you have stayed for 90 days in Czech already, you may exceed the permissible number of days of stay without a visa during the visit in other countries joining the Schengen zone. This may cause a problem. Therefore, you need to consider current circumstances and check out if you can prolong your stay, before visiting those countries. 

Although Czech gives priority to those countries that have made the bilateral agreement with Czech, it is also a Schengen zone member at the same time, thus if you are punished for overstay in other Schengen zone member countries, it will be equally applied in Czech as well.
